The peak

When the whole world dropped in.

2021 was Free Fire's year. Everyone was home and everyone was playing. The Chrono collab had just landed, there were no region walls, cheaters were rare, and PC emulator squads queued in the same lobbies as everyone else. Then the World Series happened.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is this the official game?

No. RetroBooyah is a fan-made, non-commercial preservation project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Garena.

How long does Season 1 run?

From 26 October to 14 December 2026. After that, a different era takes over. Follow along so you don't miss the next one.

Why do I need a Google account?

Google proves who you are, so nobody else can log in as you and you never need a separate password. Your game account is tied to that Google identity through its own Open ID.

Can I play on PC?

Yes. The client is an Android app, so install an Android emulator such as LDPlayer and run the RetroBooyah client inside it.

I signed in on the website. What now?

Your account exists now. Open the game, tap Feel Nostalgia on the login screen and sign in with the same Google account to pick it up.
